Blood Tests

To book a test, log in above and choose Buy A Blood Test. Blood tests are an essential part of your Eden journey. They give our specialists a detailed understanding of your current health and identify any issues that may affect the services you require from us.

We have partnered with one of the largest UK specialist testing laboratories to develop three unique blood tests that you can only order from us directly.

Blood test home visit

Blood tests are not all the same. You have specialist health needs and 'off the shelf' tests may not be right for your situation. Testing can vary depending on many factors, including the medication you use. This is why we have developed our own unique tests.

The price of every Eden New Life test includes the cost of a trained nurse to come to your home or workplace to take your blood sample.

This convenient method saves you time and provides the best diagnostic result, most quickly. It avoids the inaccuracies and failures of other test methods. Up to 1 in 5 home blood 'finger-prick' self-tests fail and require a second test, wasting time and causing delay.

Your nurse will dispatch your blood sample to the laboratory the same day and the results are passed automatically to our specialists for review. They will discuss the results with you at your next scheduled session, but will also automatically alert you more quickly if they note anything of concern.

Blood tests are not included in your subscription fee as each individual may have very different requirements. Your Eden specialist will advise you what blood test to order, and when. To ensure your well-being, blood tests are a non-optional requirement to access some Eden services. Our laboratory tests on your blood may include;

  • Full blood count

  • Urea and electrolytes

  • Liver function

  • Lipids and fasting lipids

  • Glycated haemoglobin

  • Follicle stimulating hormone

  • Luteinizing hormone

  • Prolactin

  • Sex hormone binding globulin

  • Oestradiol

  • Testosterone

Eden New Life Private Blood Test Options

T1

Intake Test £157

This is our most comprehensive test. It checks that your liver and kidneys are working as they should - this is very important as different hormones can affect these organs. We ensure that you do not have undiagnosed diabetes; and if you already know you have diabetes, we make sure that this is under control. We check that your immune system is working as it should and that you have the right amount of red cells in your blood; if these are low, it can make you feel tired. This is important, as certain hormone medications can affect both your red cells and how your immune system works. Lastly, this blood test gives a level of all your current hormones. This is important for us to have a baseline, so we can monitor your response clinically to any prescribed hormone medication. If you require the most detailed results you can always opt for test 1 even if you have been asked to do test 2 or 3.

T2

Male to Female Monitoring Test £100

This test helps us check your response to the hormones that you are taking. This is to ensure that the amount of oestrogen in your body is clinically at the correct level so you get the best physiological outcome; ie. we want the best feminising outcome that we can for you. We also check your testosterone level to ensure that it is being lowered by the oestrogen; if it isn’t, we might need to prescribe you additional medication. Lastly, we monitor how your liver is working as we know that in some people, oestrogen can affect how their liver works.

T3

Female to Male Monitoring Test £100

This test helps us check your response to the hormones that you are taking. This is to ensure that the amount of testosterone in your body is clinically at the correct level so you get the best physiological outcome; ie. We want the best masculinising outcome that we can for you. As testosterone can sometimes cause your body to make too many red blood cells, we check your full blood count to make sure this is not happening; if it is, we can resolve this - we just need to know. Lastly, we monitor how your liver is working as we know that in some people, testosterone can affect how their liver works.
